Review of Ten by Gretchen McNeil
5 stars

I totally enjoyed “Ten,” which I had purchased because of its blurb and cover art. So excellently written, and seamlessly plotted, with no dropped stitches or unintended clues, this is a one-sitting mystery (it worked that way for me, anyway ) which is worth re-reading, even though on the second try we will already know the identity of the killer and the reasons why.

There is no telegraphing here of clues, not really any red herrings. Yes, like the protagonist Meg, I did have a couple other characters in mind as possibly the killer-but I didn’t expect the reality, and the denouement was superb. Ms. McNeil weaves a perfect tapestry and I would give this one about 16 stars.
