BLACK FRIDAY BLOG HOP! AND GIVEAWAY

While the rest of the US is out handling the crowds, fighting for their holiday gifts, some of us like to stay in, shop online, or just ignore Black Friday all to together. This year, join us in our second annual Black Friday Blog Hop! It's a ONE DAY hop where we're giving away prizes, talking about books we love, and most likely  eating left over turkey. :-)

The hop is November 23rd and is ONE DAY only.


And while we do that, we are EACH doing a giveaway. Yep. There will be over 200 giveaways on each blog hosted by that Author or Blogger.

But that's not all....

We have THREE grand prizes. You as a reader can go to EACH blog and comment with your email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 200 times!

    We did actually venture out this morning at hit Home Depot at 5:00 a.m. for a tree. Every single Christmas item we had burned in a shed fire we had back in April. While I am mourning the loss of 50+ years of holiday collectibles, I am grateful for our home, safety, and health. SO, getting this tree, our first "start over" Christmas item, made this a bittersweet Black Friday.

    This is the BEST way to spend Black Friday. Sitting at home, hopping with old friends and making new ones. I can't handle the crowds anymore so I only do Black Friday shopping online if I do any.     The only place I'll even go to on Black Friday is my local grocery store. They don't do any specials or anything, it's just a small town store, but at least there's no crazy shoppers to contend with! lol.

    I love getting up early and going to the stores for the Black Friday deals, but this year they started them at 8pm on Thanksgiving and I just didn't feel like fighting the crowds. So I waited until 11:30pm when the stores were almost empty and still got all the specials I wanted.
