A rollicking adventure ride through Cold War politics as seen in a relatively localized environment, “Soviet Snowstorm” is filled with tons of action, good characterization, and a head-on look at both sides of the Cold War, Soviet and American, in terms of espionage, military ventures, and covert agencies. How far was each side willing to go? Well, you’ll learn of some examples in this exciting story-and the bottom line is, as far as each can go.
I classify this story as a “thrilling” thriller and I ended it wanting to have the next episode in hand. “What happens next?” keeps those pages turning and keeps this reviewer enthralled.
