Review: LILY AND THE ANIMAL CHOIR by Ayala Saar
I really enjoyed this children's tale, and will be proud to share it with my grandchildren. The story of Lily Goat and her friends promotes multicultural diversity and seeing beyond surface appearances. Although Lily's goal and that of her friends is to sing, and to sing in a choir, several groups unkindly reject them (birds, cats, frogs). Fortunately, the singers eventually find a supportive, inclusive choir that welcomes all.
