Review: THE HOTEL CALIFORNIA by Donnie Light
An endearing paranormal novella seamlessly interweaves the lyrics of the famed Eagles' song "Hotel California." A hot-shot rock drummer undergoes a belated coming-of-age as he finally recognizes his "real" self, and where he took a wrong turn in life. While this progresses, danger approaches, and the choice becomes "Stay forever" or "leave now." Readers will delight at the ways that the lyrics provide backdrop (my mental orchestra played in delight all the way through).
