Review:

Review: TANGLED LIVES

Solid past, precious present, bright future: that's what outsiders see when considering the life, career, marriage and family of Annie Delancey, middle-aged, middle-class, resident of London. Annie's is a life many might see fit to envy. But "perfect" lives, like glass houses, sometimes develop cracks, inside or outside, or both.

Annie keeps trying to smile away the new growing tension between her two daughters, and between older daughter and former long-term best friend, her brother's sensual non-monogamous new girlfriend and love-light. Maybe these growth pains could be patched up eventually, or perhaps these internal cracks might heal themselves. But it's for certain that only the strongest foundation, the house built on solid ground, could withstand the impact of the stone about to be tossed from outside: Annie's "other" son, the one about whom nobody knows.
