Delightfully positive and inspiring, environment-affirming. Young (New) readers can read it for themselves, and parents and grandparents will enjoy sharing the reading experience with children as yet too young to read on their own. Emphasizes the theme by gentle repetition and cute illustrations.
I've read this story two or three times and each time I've laughed at the humorous poetry and smiled at the environmentalism. Little (pun intentional) is truly something else, indeed. I can't imagine any child not loving this story.
