Now that was scary! You can't trust your friends, you can't trust your family, you sure can't trust your extended family--or the neighbors or law enforcement. About all you can rely on is that almost everyone you know is either ruled by greed or by insanity or both. In the end: Trust no one.
This is a scary short story prequel to THE HARVESTERS.
