REVIEW: FROM THE CRADLE by Louise Voss and Mark Edwards FROM THE CRADLE is a riveting suspense, a British police procedural, and an exposition behind the scenes of the interpersonal machinations and conflicts in a big-city police department. Yet it is much more, as it takes on the issuesof child abduction, paedophilia, infanticide, mental illness--and some really twisted characters. DI Patrick Lennon is a gem, and I hope to encounter him again in future mysteries.
