Review: DEAD MAN WALKING by Paul Finch. Release

REVIEW: DEAD MAN WALKING by Paul Finch

The English moors have for centuries been admired for their untrammeled scenic beauty; but perhaps because of their rampant isolation, they have too frequently been host to vicious criminality. In this mystery, a serial murderer known as the Dartmoor Stranger (due to his affinity for whistling Frank Sinatra' s "Strangers in the Night") has reappeared after an absence of a decade. In an area with only minor and scattered police presence, DS Mark Heckenburg, transferred from the Serious Crime Unit in London, must with the help of only one colleague, a female Detective Constable, track the returned killer across miles of untamed moorland.
