Review: ONE KILL AWAY by Alex MacLean
Author Alex Maclean, who delivered a winner in his debut mystery, GRAVE SITUATION, does so again with the second in the Allan Stanton series, a lovely gory police procedural with characters who are among the best in crime literature. [I'm including some of the villains here too. Mr. Maclean brings home to us that although almost every crime, including murder, is committed for reasons of sheer stupidity and selfishness, once in a while there are deeper and more compelling rationales, such as the drive to pursue vigilante justice.] ONE KILL AWAY is a Don't miss!
