LOVE INTHE TIME OF MURDER by D. E. Haggerty

Review: LOVE IN THE TIME OF MURDER by D. E. Haggerty
[The Gray-Haired Knitting Society #3)

A totally scrumptious cozy mystery, third in the Gray-Haired Knitting Society series, LOVE IN THE TIME OF MURDER hosts a delightful cast, who live, love, date, dance, enjoy fashion and knitting, and eat well. They're also incredibly devoted to each other and to their loved ones. Of course, there is also a jerk: granddaughter Delilah's soon-to-be-ex-husband, violent, controlling, and abusive. Dee's not the only one who wants him out of her life, and someone takes more permanent steps than just Dee's restraining order.

My only caution is that the story vividly depicts the effects of long-term domestic violence on the victim, including anxiety attacks, the conviction that she is wrong, stupid, worthless, etc., and ingrained fearfulness.
