I bought this book 6 days ago, primarily due to the beautiful cover and to the location, one county distant from where I grew up. It took me only a couple hours to read; I quite enjoyed it, and gave it 5 stars. What I didn't expect was that this haunting story would continue to linger, playing on the empathy I had developed for the characters, and the unexpected identity of the hauntings. This one is definitely 12-star.
