Once again, our protagonist, who most often just wishes to be "free" and on his own, finds himself in the really wrong-nearly inescapable- place at the wrong time. Like all on the Hero's Quest, Jack can't resist a challenge, or an opportunity for chivalry, or to put things right.. In the process, a terrible underside is uncovered, with no one in the right, and I feared that this time would cause both trouble and danger for him.
