REVIEW: IN GALLUP, GREED by Tower Lowe

I enjoy reading about New Mexico; different authors offer differing perspectives, different pieces of the puzzle. IN GALLUP, GREED takes a sort of metaphysical approach to a current mystery and an ongoing mystery. When a talented Gallup artist US discovered by his sister, dead, the sister c as los on her best friend, who in turn summons two State investigators, who are also P.I. partners. One, Burro, is a treated schizophrenic who nonetheless experiences clue-providing vision. The other partner, Cinnamon, continues her decades-long search for her missing mother, also named Cinnamon. As Burro and Cinnamon, their friend Alice, and the deceased artist's sister Mirage, unravel the death, in the background the puzzle of Cinnamon' s long-list Momma echoes on.
