Review: BROKEN CHAIN by Lisa Von Biela
Oh, this book SCARED me!! Not from horror, but from its realism and likely probability. The probability of GMO variance and mutations is an unfortunately real one, and author Lisa Von Biela brings the potential to immediate, vivid, terrifying, life. Consider the dependency of world culture on meat; the insidious way in which so much of the global economy depends on meat-producing and consumption. Then consider the ramifications if all livestock, all feed, were destroyed. Scary! I started reading and couldn't turn away.
