REVIEW: FEAR THE SILENCE by Iain Cameron
This third entry in the DI Angus Henderson series finds the Scottish expatriate to Sussex Detective Inspector in the sights of a Brighton criminal gang into whose imports he has thrown a socket. Simultaneously his new Detective Chief Inspector commands his attention to a missing persons case, one Kelly Langton, former top model, wealthy businesswoman, mother of two, who has disappeared, without passport, clothing, or car. The case is not at all what it seems, and tosses the diligent DI into constant twists, dead ends, and imminent fatality.
This is the kind of down home British police procedural I so admire.
