REVIEW: FACIAL by Jeff Strand This novella is so over-the-top outre, I just want to laugh even while I'm groaning, "Oh no, he didn't really do that." FACIAL (no, this doesn't involve beauty treatments or spas, nor is it about some jerk who adds toxic chemicals to ex-girlfriend's moisturizer) is comedic horror about a trans-dimensional entity and a cadre of clowns. Not in the literal sense, so readers with coulrophobia, relax. This cast of characters are all ludicrous losers, and the entity is the snake-oil salesman (again, not literally). That said, my head is still exploding with insane laughter.
