Review: BECAUSE SHE LOVES ME by Mark Edwards

What a sad and scary tale: sad because there's so much loss, injury, and death; scary because the culprits are the kind who can "hide in plain sight," appearing to be normal employees, neighbors, dates, even boyfriends and girlfriends, while all the while, they lack human emotions, and sometimes, they do possess emotions: Narcissism, anger, rage, hatred, paranoia, pathological envy. (Yes I know paranoia and Narcissism are considered disorders of the psyche, but I.believe in this type of category they are applicable as emotions.) Our protagonist I deemed kind of wishy-washy, and not really in touch with his own deeper emotions. He certainly had already had a horrible run of luck, only to fall afoul of the kind of individuals I've been describing.
