REVIEW: THE LOST GIRLS by Gwen Moffat
Here is yet another mystery which has my highest praise. Gwen Moffat is in the pantheon with Angela Marsden and S. J. Bolton. She takes a sad little town in England's Lake District, abandoned 45 years ago for a dam [another subject I can never resist] and sets in it a series of crimes and sinful behavior, all of which never seem to come to light. Well, not for 45 years, and a continuing severe drought that begins to uncover the drowned village. Now, of course, a whole new series of crimes commences, but their inspiration is long, long, buried...
