Review: CAILLOU: EMMA'S EXTRA SNACKS --LIVING WITH DIABETES by Anne Paradis

I'm sad that such an issue exists--young children with diabetes--but glad that it can be addressed in a manner helpful to children with this disease, and to their friends. Caillou is puzzled--and a little envious--that his good friend Emma gets more frequent snacks at preschool. Their teacher carefully explains the situation, and Emma talks about how it effects her. Later she proves to Caillou that she can still be fit and active.
