Review: A DEAD PLACE CALLS by John White
A delightful, entertaining, and smoothly written fable, in the tradition of epic fantasy. Yes, we have The Thief, but he's likable. Plus a clairvoyant, prophesying, epileptic boy; a disgraced deserter (he says not) with real Berserker spells; and dwarves! Altogether, a novella I enjoyed very much and recommend!
