How I enjoyed this novel! Couldn't stop reading! I am no Lovecraft scholar, but I am a fan, of the Great Man himself and of the expanded Mythos. So I was immediately engrossed in the theme of this story, in which the principles of Cthulhu are brought to life in contemporary Sarasota, Florida. Author Rick Dakan superbly delineates the philosophy and metaphysics that would serve as the foundation for any devotion to Cthulhu, as well as the psychological underpinnings of a descent into madness (the latter also a theme in Lovecraft's own oeuvre). THE CTHULHU CULT is a real page-turner, and I deem it a re-reader too.
